Urea is a mineral compound known by the chemical formula CO(NH2)2 and also known as carbamid. This substance is widely used in fertilizers as a rich source of nitrogen and is also considered an important raw material for chemical industries. As this substance has the highest amount of nitrogen among all solid nitrogenous fertilizers, it has a lower transportation cost than other nitrogenous substances.

This powder is easier to store and transport than skimmed milk in liquid form, and it is typically less expensive.
